Together for COVID-19 safer
schools Our Hygiene Our Health Competition

Through participating in the Our Hygiene Our Health competition, you will put the national Jordan “Back-to-school“ Guide into practice to prevent COVID-19 transmission at your school. The participatory tools will help you to develop and implement a coherent set of activities to create a safe school environment.
The schools with the most suitable solutions win the competition.

You will find the timeline and the necessary steps for the competition on this page below.

From the Honorable Secretary General of the Ministry of Education

Dear Principals, Teachers, Students, Maintainers, Parents and Everyone,

With your participation in the Our Hygiene Our Health or the OHOH competition, you are making an important contribution to protecting yourself and everyone at your school from COVID-19.

When you develop a good OHOH concept you can protect everyone at your school and win a prize for the best competition entry.

The tools provided on this website will help you put the “Back-to-School“ Guide into practice. We want to help you to find and implement the best activities to make your school COVID-19 safer. COVID-19 safer means that the probability of a COVID-19 infection is very low and you are complying with the measures in the “Back-to-School“ Guide. Each school has its own context and will have to develop its own solutions for keeping the COVID-19 virus out of their school and mitigating transmission within the school.

During the remedial phase, your school has already prepared to be COVID-19 safer. Now, we encourage you to go a step further: to showcase your work and to collaborate with your school peers for making the school even more COVID-19 safe through this competition in a common and fun process, considering the needs and perspectives of your colleagues at school. Teamwork is crucial in this competition, as only together we can see the full picture and understand all risks of transmission!

The steps below guide you through the process, but you can choose your own methodology. By November 21st 2021 please hand in the “OHOH Entry Form“ through this website. Please add pictures so we can see what you have been implementing.

We are looking forward to visit the winning school within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
